no surprises.

Four out of the five highest ranking officers implicated in the institutionalised torture at Abu Ghraib have been cleared of any criminal misconduct.

The story broke just over a year ago – we got the photos and the shocking stories, then the interviews and the documentaries. The military just lets it lay low for a while, and then exonerates its top brass.

No surprises here …

It is worth reading the Hersh article again, just to remember how horrible these cunts were/are.

Latest news has PTE Lynndie England pleading guilty to 7 of the charges in exchange for a reduced sentence.
